GUIDELINES FOR ASN “SUPPORTING OUR FAMILIES”

 

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

1.  Must be a member of the Autism Society of America or be using at least part of the scholarship money towards membership.

2.   Must be a resident of the state of Nebraska.

3.   Family may only be granted 1 scholarship per year.

4.   Maximum amount that can be requested per member/family is $125.

5.   Funds must go to a person with or a caregiver for a person with ASD.

6.   The ASN Scholarship Committee may approve the application for lesser amount than requested.

7.   If a person on the scholarship committee applies for a scholarship, that person will not be eligible to vote on the application.

8.   The scholarships may include, but are not limited to:  ASN conferences, therapy, medications, diatary needs, respite care, ASN/ASA membership dues, etc.

**Exceptions may be made with approval of the scholarship committee.

 

APPLICATION PROCESS

1.  Applicant must fill out the scholarship application form and send it to

2  Application will be reviewed by the scholarship committee and voted on and approval/denial will be by majority vote

3  If the application is approved, a letter and the funds granted will be sent to the applicant.

4.  If the application is denied, a letter will be sent to the applicant.
