SUPPORT GROUPS ACROSS NEBRASKA (AUTISM SPECIFIC):
The Autism Society of Nebraska is proud to help bring the Nebraska Autism Community together. The following is a list of support groups. Please direct any questions to the contact person listed as these support groups are indendently run by leaders in their own community.
FREMONT:
Fremont Autism Support Group
This group has quarterly meetings. Please contact Theresa Muhle at theresa.muhle@fpsmail.org or (402) 727-3173.
GRAND ISLAND:
Grand Island Parent Groups
Support Group meets the 2nd Sunday of the month at Third City Christian Church from 2:30pm – 4:30pm. Childcare is provided at no charge to the parents.
Respite available the 3rd Saturday of the month from 8:30am - 11:00am.

KEARNEY:
Autism Support Group of Kearney (ASK)
Support Group meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at First United Methodist Church from 7-8:30pm. Childcare is available (siblings included). Please email 3 days prior if childcare is needed so appropriate supervision will be available.
