Bellevue TopSoccer Registration Opens

Registration is now open for the Spring Bellevue TOPSoccer season.

Bellevue TOPSoccer is a co-ed soccer league for children, teens and young adults with special needs. A player does not have to be a resident of Bellevue to play in this league.   They have players from all over the Metro area and surrounding Sarpy County, Cass County and Council Bluffs areas.
Their goal is to enable young athletes with mental and physical disabilities to develop their physical fitness, technical skills, courage and self-esteem, through the joy and excitement of playing soccer.

TOPSoccer groups players by ability so that the best possible experience is available for our players. Players wear soccer uniforms, play on soccer fields with nets/goals and Soccer Buddies are available for players that need assistance.

This league plays in both the Spring and the Fall.  They meet one time a week on Sunday afternoon, practice 30 minutes followed by a 30 minute game.

Registration fee;  $20   (by 3/5/13; After 3/5 fee is $40)

KEARNEY: Bowling Buddy Registration

The Fall session of Buddy Bowling is fast approaching. Bowling will begin on Sept. 26 and will meet every Wednesday through Nov. 14 from 4-5 pm at The Big Apple Fun Center. Buddy Bowling pairs people with disabilities (ages 5 and up) with UNK volunteer buddies to enjoy fun and fellowship while bowling. Buddy Bowling costs $25 for Arc members or $35 for non Arc members which covers one game each week.

KEARNEY: TOPSoccer

TOPSoccer registration is underway for the Fall 2012 season. Practices and games will be conducted on: Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Sept 4, 6,11,18, 20,and 25 from 6:30-7:30 pm at West Lincolnway Park. TOPSoccer is specifically for kids will physical or developmental disabili-ties that may require extra assistance. The program provides kids with an extra fun soccer experience in a camp format. With adult supervision, high school and middle school soccer players and college volunteers teach, assist, and play with TOPSoccer players during drills, contests, and games.

OMAHA: ALLPlay Fall Baseball League

Fall season: Aug 11th to Sept 15th (6 weeks/games)
Games times each Saturday at: 9am, 10, 11, and noon

Athlete’s disabilities may include: autism; cerebral palsy; spina bifida; visual impairements; muscular dystrophy; dwarfism; multiple sclerosis; spinal cord injury; down syndrome; amputations; and other physical and mental disabilities. ​​

Miracle League Buddies can: select a time slot; choose to be assigned to a specific player or just be a part time buddy Volunteers are needed to help coach and assist with running the league.

Great Plains Paralyzed Veterans Association and Ollie Webb Center, Inc host a Basketball League for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

6 week league: March 26 – May 3

COST:  $35 Arc Member  /  $45 Non-Arc Member
