FEEL LIKE LIFE IS ONE BIG CIRCUS ACT? COME COMPARE!
The Autism Society of Nebraska has been invited by the Tangier shriners to join them for a FREE special needs showing of the Shrine Circus!
Join us Friday, February 22th from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
Yes, the bad news is that their special needs show is during school hours. So if you have school aged children you will have to decide if you want to take them out of school for the afternoon. This really is a great chance for them to experience such an exciting (but oh so overstimulating) environment in the safety of a more accepting crowd.
We hope you will join us!
It is FREE, but you will need to RSVP by January 17th to reserve seating. Click HERE to RSVP!
We only have a limited number of seats for our organization so it will be first come first served!

So many of our families have shared that they don’t “do” anything at New Years because it is hard to go to a boisterous rowdy event with their loved one who has sensory issues.
Well, now is your chance to experience a “Sensory Friendly New Years!”
We have two goals :
•our families to come together and have a fun time
•give our children, teens and young adults a chance to experience the countdown to the New Year alongside friends!

You don’t have to stay until midnight…but we hope you do!
We are asking everyone to bring a favorite snack to share. (Please no alcohol)
Fun for all ages!
Please RSVP at autismsocietynewyears.eventbrite.com!

Support Group for the siblings in our ASD families
The Omaha chapter of the Autism Society has created a group for all of the siblings out there whose lives are impacted by a brother or sister’s autism. We want to create an environment where these children can come together and have some fun. This group is not about therapy but about strengthening our community and supporting a very important group of our society.
We’d are aiming to provide events that are specifically for and about these amazing and important members of all of our families!
