KEARNEY: TOPSoccer

TOPSoccer registration is underway for the Fall 2012 season. Practices and games will be conducted on: Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Sept 4, 6,11,18, 20,and 25 from 6:30-7:30 pm at West Lincolnway Park. TOPSoccer is specifically for kids will physical or developmental disabili-ties that may require extra assistance. The program provides kids with an extra fun soccer experience in a camp format. With adult supervision, high school and middle school soccer players and college volunteers teach, assist, and play with TOPSoccer players during drills, contests, and games.

OMAHA: Middle School Outing to Family Fun Center

Come join our new Middle School Club on our next adventure! We will be going to Family Fun Center and hanging out with our friends. Join us for the laser-maze, 18 holes of golf, 30 minutes unlimited games, $2 of bonus game play, hot dog, chips and 12 oz drink!

This event is perfect for grades 5 – 9.  The Autism Society will cover the cost for all pre-registered participants.   You can register HERE.

Participants must be accompanied by an adult. Adults can have fun too!  For adults there will be a $5 cost for all of the above activities excluding the Lasermaze.  If you want to do the Lasermaze it will be an additional $2.99.

Autism Action Partnership’s Autism Summit

AAP’s 2012 Autism Summit will host keynote speaker, Eustacia Cutler.  Eustacia Cutler is the mother of Temple Grandin and will speak about raising Temple, her fight to keep Temple in the mainstream of family, community, and school life.  Ms. Cutler will also explore the nature of autism disorder as doctors understand it today.

Miracle League Buddies can: select a time slot; choose to be assigned to a specific player or just be a part time buddy Volunteers are needed to help coach and assist with running the league.

BELLEVUE: TOPSoccer

Bellevue TOPSoccer for players with special needs is registering for the Fall 2012 season NOW.  Registrations turned in by August 20, 2012 are only $20!

BSC TOPSoccer is for children (starting at age 4), teens, and young adults with special needs.  They have players from all over the Omaha Metro, Sarpy County, Cass County and Council Bluffs.
