The Autism Puzzle Walk is the primary fundraiser for the Autism Society of Nebraska.  While we wish we could come have a walk in every Nebraska community that just isn’t possible.   The 2011 Puzzle Walk will be held in Omaha but our goal is to have our virtual community celebrating in every county across our great state on April 30th

100% of the proceeds from the Autism Puzzle Walk stay in Nebraska.  They go towards supporting the Autism Society of Nebraska’s mission which is to improve the lives of all affected by autism…IN NEBRASKA!  It is our hope that everyone from Scottsbluff to Falls City will rally in support of the cause by registering as a virtual walker! 

We don’t have to physically walk together in order to rally together and make a difference!

The reality is…Autism is in Scottsbluff, Omaha and everywhere in between.  Autism is in the cities and autism can be found in the middle of the heartland.  Plain and simple, 1 out of 110 of Nebraska’s children have autism and we need to get to work helping every single one of them.  We also need to get to work helping the adults with autism who are sitting on waiting lists for services.  They are all struggling to help.  There is a lot to do and we need EVERYONE to help us make it happen!
