The primary mission of the Autism Society of Nebraska is to provide support and advocacy to people with autism of all ages and their families.  This mission is met through support groups and referral services for people with autism and their families.

Support groups can be found across Nebraska in many communities.  The Autism Society of Nebraska also has an online support group.  This option accommodates those with autism and their families who may find it difficult to travel to support groups.  Simply having access to others who understand autism is a vital resource.

We can’t be heard alone, but with more voices joining daily, that small voice can become a roar. We invite you and hope you become a part of our community.

Autism Society of Nebraska was founded in 1976, and is the state wide chapter for the national organization known as Autism Society (founded in 1965).  When you join the Autism Society, you become a member of both the Autism Society of Nebraska and the national organization of Autism Society.
