The 2009 ASD Network State Autism Conference will be held at the Embassy Suites in LaVista on April 16th and 17th.  Register today!

We are anticipating a great conference this year.  The keynote speakers include Dr. Peter Gerhardt, Dr. Susan Wilczynski, Shawn Henry and Lisa Barrett Mann.  Also Jay and Marilyn Gense will be coming back to Nebraska to present on ASD and Visual Impairments.  They will also have numerous, diverse, breakout sessions with area presenters including a strand on Low Incidence Disabilities.

**UPDATE**

The Autism Society of Nebraska did set aside funding for scholarships to help our members attend the 2009 State ASD conference.   As of yesterday, we have awarded all of our scholarship funds for this conference.  We are proud to have been able to help many of our families and regret that we can’t help everyone.   Please keep us in mind for next year and be sure and apply for our scholarships early!  We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
