The 2009 ASD Network State Autism Conference will be held at the Embassy Suites in LaVista on April 16th and 17th.

We are anticipating a great conference this year.  The keynote speakers include Dr. Peter Gerhardt, Dr. Susan Wilczynski, Shawn Henry and Lisa Barrett Mann.  Also Jay and Marilyn Gense will be coming back to Nebraska to present on ASD and Visual Impairments.  They will also have numerous, diverse, breakout sessions with area presenters including a strand on Low Incidence Disabilities. 

Register early because last year they filled the conference to capacity and actually had to turn people away!  Download the flyer here.

The Autism Society of Nebraska has set aside some funding for members to attend this conference.  This financial assistance is first come, first served…and goes fast so apply soon!  Contact autismsociety@autismnebraska.org for more information on ASN’s scholarships to attend.
